Legal operations is a relatively new field of expertise - it only traces its beginnings to the early 2000s, yet is becoming increasingly popular because it answers the exact questions about quality, accuracy and effectiveness in legal work. How can legal services (law firms and corporate legal departments) best deploy their team of smart lawyers and technical resources to improve service delivery and safeguard clients from all sorts of risks? 

The presentation is structured in two parts. The first part will focus on the core competencies of legal operations (including legal workflow management, data analytics, change management, etc.) and new roles in the legal profession. The second part will focus on technology solutions that are widely used to improve legal service delivery (legal data management, document automation, digital contracting, etc.).
