Peter van Elsuwege is a widely recognized expert of EU external relations, and in his speech, he will focus on the legal framework of EU-Russia relations in the light of the ongoing crisis situation in Ukraine. In particular, he will address topical issues such as the impact of the sanctions regime and the implications of the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union between Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia for the further development of EU-Russia relations.
