The German Law and Economics Association/Gesellschaft für Recht und Ökonomik invites paper submissions for its 20th Annual Conference:

GLEA 2023

July 6-7, 2023, Andrássy University Budapest (Hungary)

The conference language is English.
Submissions of papers on any topic in Law and Economics are welcome. Extended abstracts are acceptable, but priority will be given to completed manuscripts. We encourage submissions by young researchers at the PhD level to present and discuss their work with more experienced scholars.

Important dates:

• March 30, 2023:             Submission deadline
• Late April 2023:              Communication of acceptance
• June 1, 2023:                   Deadline for registration
• June 17, 2023:                 Paper version to discussant
• July 6-7, 2023:                 GLEA conference

We will communicate acceptance decisions in late April 2023. If your paper is accepted, you will need to send the complete manuscript to your discussant no later than June 17. From late April 2023 on you will have access to information about regis- tration, accommodation, travel options and the preliminary program on the conference website: https://www.andrassyuni.eu/veranstaltungen/20th-annual-conference- of-the-german-law-and-economics-association-glea-2023.html

The conference is planned as an in-person-event, unless the public health situation would require us to organize it online. If the conference can take place in person, the registration fee will be €150 (€80 for PhD candidates), which includes the conference dinner on July 7. We reserve the right not to refund this fee should you cancel after registration.

The annual assembly of the members of GLEA will take place during the conference.
