Die Andrássy Universität Budapest (AUB) wurde 2001 gegründet, sie ist die einzige vollständig deutschsprachige Universität außerhalb des deutschen Sprachraums. Eines ihrer Ziele ist es, zum Aufbau eines interdisziplinären Forschungsnetzwerkes im Donauraum beizutragen.

Im Rahmen der Förderung durch die Pallas Athéné Domus Educationis Stiftung (PADE) werden ab 1. Februar 2020 Visiting Research Fellowships für BewerberInnen aus den V6+ Länder ausgeschrieben.

Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an ausgewiesene ForscherInnen, die im Rahmen der ausgeschriebenen thematischen Schwerpunkte interdisziplinäre sowie transdisziplinäre Forschungsprojekte mit Fokus auf den Donauraum planen. Bewerbungen sind insbesondere zu folgenden Themenbereichen erwünscht:

• Geopolitik, Internationale Beziehungen
• Europäische Integrationsprozesse
• Politische und / oder ökonomische Transformationsprozesse
• Regionale Kooperation
• Digitalisierung, FinTech

Die Forschungsprojekte sollen in Publikationen der Andrássy Universität einfließen, bis zum Ende der Förderzeit soll eine 20 seitige wissenschaftliche Publikation (in englischer Sprache) die Forschungsergebnisse zusammenfassen. Außerdem wird die Bereitschaft zu interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit und zur Mitwirkung an Veranstaltungen und Projekten der AUB und der PADE-Stiftung vorausgesetzt: ein zweitägiger Workshop für Doktoranden der AUB, min. 2 öffentliche Vorträge, Mitwirkung an der Sommeruniversität der AUB.

Zur Durchführung der Forschungsvorhaben werden Fördermittel in Höhe von HUF 250.000,- (Brutto) pro Monat zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Andrássy Visiting Fellowships werden befristet auf 6 Monate vergeben, der Förderungszeitraum liegt zwischen den 1. Februar 2020 – 31. Juli 2020.

Kriterien:

• Promotion oder fortgeschrittenes Promotionsprojekt und mindestens zwei Jahre ausgewiesene Forschungserfahrung
• Bewerben können sich ForscherInnen aus den Visegrád-Ländern sowie aus den West-Balkan-Staaten

Bitte senden Sie Ihre aussagekräftige Bewerbung mit allen erforderlichen Unterlagen (Lebenslauf, Kopien der Zeugnisse, Publikationsliste, Exposé zum Forschungsvorhaben im Umfang von drei bis fünf Seiten mit Angaben zur methodischen Vorgehensweise) bis zum 6. Andrássy University Budapest (AUB) was founded in 2001 and is the only entirely German-speaking university located outside the German-speaking countries. One part of our mission is to contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary research network in the the Danube region.

To further this aim we offer Visiting Research Fellowships sponsored by the Pallas Athena Domus Educationis Foundation (PADE) for applicants from the V6+ countries starting from 1 February 2020.

This call is addressed at renowned researchers who are planning interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research projects with a focus on the Danube region within the scientific fields specified. Applications in the following thematic areas are especially encouraged:

• Geopolitics, international relations
• European integration processes
• Political and/or economic transformation processes
• Regional cooperation
• Digitalisation, FinTech

The research projects are expected to be incorporated in the publications of Andrássy University, and by the end of the grant period, the research results are to be summarised in a scientific publication (in English) of ca. 20 pages length. Research fellows are expected to participate in interdisciplinary cooperations and to contribute to events and projects of both AUB and PADE Foundation: a two-day-workshop for PhD students at AUB, at least 2 public lectures and contributions to the summer school at AUB.

For the implementation of the research projects, a gross grant of 250 000 HUF per month is provided. The duration of Andrássy Visiting Fellowships is limited to 6 months for the period between 1 February 2020 and 31 July 2020.

Requirements:

• PhD or a research project in an advanced stage leading to a PhD degree and a minimum of two years of certified research experience.
• The call for applications is open to researchers from the Visegrád and the West Balkan countries.
