The accreditation commission of the evaluation agency evalag (evaluation agency of Baden-Württemberg) has positively appraised the internal quality assurance system in the courses and instruction at AUB with regard to the achievement of the given qualification goals and the guarantee of a high quality of the degree programmes according to the criteria of the system accreditation.

At the Accreditation Commission meeting of 20 September 2013, the university was granted accreditation until 30 September 2019. With it, AUB was officially certified that its quality management system is qualified to assure the high quality of the diploma programmes at all times and to further develop its selection of programmes specifically. 

An article of the evalag system accreditation is the internal quality assurance system of a college in the area of its courses and instruction. In the case of the successful accreditation of the college, all degree programmes which the system has passed through with a positive result are also accredited.

With this, AUB is the first foreign university to be certified positively in accordance with the German rules and criteria.
