The round table discussion in in context of the #refugeepanorama conference wish be hold from 2nd november to 5th november at the Andrassy Univeristy. Short about the conference hosted by the Young Citizens Danube Network:
The large numbers of refugees that have entered Europe throughout the last years have unsettled the population of the ‘old continent’.
Foreign cultures and religions foster special fears. The Young Citizens Danube Network aims at taking a closer look at these negative reactions by parts of the society. The project #refugeepanorama wants to serve as an open platform for a better understanding of the deep complexity that lies behind migration.
YCDN has developed training material, the so-called Compass Toolkit that enables participants to formulate opinions and fears. It wants to sensitize to topics as immigration and integration. The project #refugeepanorama, funded by the European Student Union, offers participants a two-day workshop with trainings, round table discussions and a cultural program as well. The training will enable participants to organize and guide the Compass Workshop in their home countries by themselves.
