Iran is one of the world's most contradictious and by the European people mostly misjudged country, however one of the most interesting ones, too. The opinion about Iran in the Western World is influenced by serious prejudices. Truly, Iran is the country where remains of the ancient Persian Empire come to life; where the hospitality, geniality and kindness of the people haven't changed a thing over time; where the locals are happy and honoured if we visit their beautiful country. Chaotic, pulsating and modern cities, teeming bazaars, peaceful, calm and magnificent mosques, marvellous Persian gardens and cosy mudbrick towns. Iran is a country where beyond the stereotypes an entirely new world reveals: the real face of Iran.

Zsombor Cseh is a tour guide, freelancer photographer and journalist travelling through the Islamic world. Our guest has been guiding tours to Iran since 2013. This April he travels for the 8th time with a big Hungarian group. In the last years he has spent almost one year in Iran, exploring the secrets of his favourite country. This lecture - with many of his beautiful photos - will be an amazing mental trip to the ancient land of Persia and a vivid modern country, Iran.
