On August 30th, the participants of the international campaigning workshop #DanubeCampaigns will present their results in the Mirror Hall of the Andrássy University Budapest.

During one week, 25 politically active youngsters from 10 different countries gather in Budapest to learn everything about campaigning. The idea of the bootcamp: the participants come with their ideas and ideals regarding socio-political challenges such as ecological problems, nationalism and migration – international experts provide them with necessary skills to launch their own campaigns: social media, creating a website, visual communication, storytelling and crowdfunding, etc.

The German based NGO DENK GLOBAL! initiated the project in cooperation with the Andrássy University and other partners in the Danube region, funded by the Baden Württemberg Stiftung and the German Federal Agency for Political Education. Their aim is strengthening civil society in the Danube region by empowering young people and to providing platform to collaborate and network and spur each other on.
