International CBC - Workshop
"Cross-Border Cooperation in Crisis: Does Institutionalized CBC Contribute to Resilience and Innovation?"
The cross-border cooperation has been flourishing in Europe since the establishment of INTERREG in 1990. After 30 years, the Corona pandemic has been the first true testing for the established cross-border cooperation. To discuss the resulting issues, we invite scholars as well as practitioners to submit papers for an international CBC Workshop held on 20-22 October 2022 at Andrássy University Budapest, Hungary.
This is a joint initiative of Andrássy University Budapest, Hungary (Martina Eckardt and Stefan Okruch) and University of Twente, The Netherlands (Annika Jaansoo). It is planned as a two-day event, organized in a workshop atmosphere with thematic paper sessions and guest speakers' presentations.
Key dates:
The workshop is planned as on on-site event at Andrássy University in Budapest. However, should the conditions in autumn be less favorable than expected (e.g. due Covid) we reserve the right to switch to an online format. In this event, all participants will be informed to time.
