Andrássy University is located right in the centre of Budapest, just behind the National Museum, easily accessible via public transport. The university can be found in the historic building of the Festetics Palace (Pollack Mihály square 3., H-1088 Budapest).
How to get there from within Budapest
By public transport
The fastest way to get to the university is either with metro line M2 (red line, get off at "Astoria”) or M3 (blue line, get off at "Kálvin tér”) or M4 (green line, get off at "Kálvin tér"). The university is situated within a few minutes walking distance (see map).

By taxi

How to get there from outside Budapest
By car
If approaching Andrássy University by car via motorway A1 coming from Vienna, you will cross Elisabeth bridge. At the intersection at Astoria, turn right onto Múzeum körút. Take the next possible left turn onto Múzeum utca right after the National Museum. Turn left again onto Polláck Mihály tér. Parking is possible in the parking garage in front of the University. Please be aware that in Austria and Hungary there is a motorway toll sticker (vignette) required.
By train
Most international trains arrive to and depart from „Keleti pályaudvar” train station. From here, you can take metro line M2 (red line, get off at „Astoria”) or metro line M4 (green line, get off at "Astoria") or get a cab.
By plane
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport offers various connections primarily within Europe, but also from and to other parts of the world. Besides traditional airlines they also serve low-cost airlines.
To get to the city centre you can take bus line 100E, which stops at "Kálvin tér", "Astoria" and "Ferenc Deák tér". Alternatively, you can take bus 200E until the last stop "Kőbánya-Kispest" and from here take the blue metro line M3 to "Kálvin tér".
There is also the possibility to take a shared taxi („miniBUD airport shuttle”) which can drop you at your hotel or at the university for a fixed price. If you would like to use this service, be sure to take into account that it might take up to 10-30 minutes until the next taxi leaves. You can register for the shared taxi at the arrivals hall. Please note that if you buy a return ticket the service fee is more favourable. In this case you will have to inform them of the exact time of your return at least 24h up front, which will gladly be arranged by your hotel or the university’s administration department).
