The German-language double master's programme with an M.A. in European Integration in East Central Europe (University Leipzig) and another in International Relations (AUB) offers students with previous knowledge in the social sciences a master's course oriented to the occupational field which is aimed at entrepreneurial, political and social activities in East Central Europe as well as those prepared in the context of the EU.
The students study at the University of Leipzig and AUB. Integration and the Europeanisation of economics and politics inside the EU as well as the internationalisation of political and economic processes in the new Member States since the end of the 20th century stand at the forefront of the course. Additionally, they also moderate events with experts from the worlds of politics, economics and administration, offer skills oriented towards the real-world as well as the application of policy tools and knowledge from the field of diplomacy. A further specialisation forms the acquisition of professional knowledge of the processes of economic as well as the political integration and transformation of the Central and Eastern European countries.
